Job Title: Equipment Maintenance and Reliability Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance and Reliability Specialist to join our team at Amgen. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our commercial manufacturing operations in Upstream, Formulation and Component Prep equipment.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of engineers in providing technical support to troubleshoot, identify and resolve process and system issues.
  • Prioritize and manage equipment and system improvement projects as well as oversee Capital Projects related to responsible area.
  • Foster an environment of safety ensuring the well-being of all colleagues and drive efforts to reduce safety risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership to a team of engineers.
  • Establish clear expectations and priorities to staff.
  • Encourage an environment of continuous improvement.
  • Foster an environment of safety.
  • Provide technical support to troubleshoot process and system issues.
  • Prioritize and manage equipment and system improvement projects.
  • Oversee Capital Projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical).
  • Manufacturing experience in biopharmaceutical Formulation/Fill Finish facilities.
  • Solid leadership, technical writing, and communication/presentation skills.
  • Experience in change control, non-conformance, corrective and preventative actions, and validation practices.
