Job Title: Geotechnical Design Lead

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled geotechnical design lead to drive the success of our infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in geotechnical design, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results on major road, rail, and building projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead geotechnical design teams to deliver high-quality designs and reports
  • Oversee the procurement of ground investigation contracts to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide specialized input to design teams and contribute to business development efforts
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience of Geotechnical design
  • A Level 8 Honours Degree in Civil / Geotechnical Engineering or related field
  • Chartered status CEng, MICE or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in an Engineering consultancy
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills
  • A full driving licence
