Expert Cyber Security Professional Sought

This is a key role for a seasoned cyber security professional to join our organisation in Dublin. The position is a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role.


The successful candidate will develop and deliver comprehensive cyber security training and awareness programs for all employees. This includes designing and implementing frameworks that align with current threat, risk, and regulatory landscapes.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Developing and delivering engaging, effective, and up-to-date training content, including e-learning modules, workshops, phishing simulations, and in-person sessions.
  • Regularly evaluating training program effectiveness through metrics, surveys, and simulated cyber-attacks.
  • Identifying high-risk/high-value individuals and groups requiring specialized cyber security training.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to align training initiatives.
  • Building strong relationships with business teams to encourage greater trust and collaboration.

To be successful in this role, you will require:


  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Risk Management, Cybersecurity, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant certifications, such as CISM, CISA, CISSP, or CRISC.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in cyber security training and awareness or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of cyber security principles, leading practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with risk assessment tools and methodologies.

This is a hybrid role, with city-centre offices. Travel to deliver training across Ireland is expected in moderation.
