Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Microbiologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing an effective microbiological service to the plant, ensuring that biological and environmental monitoring procedures are met.

The Microbiologist will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and complying with laboratory documentation and computerized systems data integrity requirements;
  • Carrying out environmental and product microbiological tests as required;
  • Defining and updating procedures for plant relative to microbiological and environmental testing;
  • Training laboratory staff in operational tests;
  • Validating equipment and test methods for microbiological tests;
  • Developing microbiological laboratory procedures;
  • Maintaining up-to-date, complete and precise records of all tests performed;

The ideal candidate will have a 3rd level qualification in Microbiology or a related area, and experience working in a GLP/GMP environment.
