Job Title: Package Handler

A challenging and rewarding career opportunity awaits you as a Package Handler. In this role, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. You may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and stock inbound products.
  • Receive returns, count and confirm quantities, determine condition and complete paperwork.
  • Obtain orders and select products from the proper locations.
  • Verify accuracy of orders picked.
  • Stage and securely pack products.
  • Arrange for pick-up of shipments, contact carriers and coordinate schedule.
  • Handle products and perform duties according to client procedures and government/compliance regulations.
  • Palletize cases, wrap, and load skids onto trailers.
  • Create shipping labels and other paperwork for parcels to maintain accurate shipping data in warehouse management system.
  • Safely operate various power equipment.
  • Respond quickly to customer/client inquiries, resolve problems, and communicate service issues to supervisor.
Requirements

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with warehouse experience preferred. Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week is also required.
