We are seeking an experienced Bim Co-Ordinator to join our team at E & I Engineering Ireland Limited. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building information modeling (BIM) and be able to contribute to the successful implementation of BIM processes for our projects.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate model coordination, data integration, and effective communication among project stakeholders. This includes collaborating with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders to develop and maintain BIM models that accurately represent project designs and data.
A key responsibility will be to coordinate busbar services within multidisciplinary BIM models to identify and resolve clashes, discrepancies, and potential conflicts in design and construction. Additionally, you will manage BIM workflows and processes to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to established BIM standards and protocols.
Other responsibilities include assisting in the creation and maintenance of BIM content libraries, templates, and families for efficient model development. You will also generate clash detection reports and work with project teams to facilitate issue resolution and coordination efforts.
As a BIM Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for extracting accurate quantities and data from BIM models for cost estimation, scheduling, and other project-related purposes. You will collaborate with BIM managers and project managers to ensure BIM deliverables align with project timelines and objectives.
In addition, you will provide training and support to project teams on BIM software and processes, promoting proper usage and adherence to standards. You will stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in BIM methodology and software.
