Scientific Research Assistant Role


Job Description

This role is ideal for an individual who is eager to learn and develop their skills in a laboratory setting. As a Scientific Research Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with various laboratory tasks, including sample preparation, data collection, and equipment maintenance.


Key Responsibilities
  • Follow established laboratory protocols and procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Assist in the preparation of samples for analysis, including weighing, measuring, and labeling.
  • Operate various types of laboratory equipment, including balances, spectrophotometers, and chromatographs.
  • Collect and record data, including measurements, observations, and results.
  • Perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment, including cleaning, calibration, and troubleshooting.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong foundation in scientific principles and laboratory practices. You should also be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
