Family Support Specialist

About the Opportunity:
The National College of Ireland is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Family Support Specialist to coordinate the implementation and roll out of the Community Families Programme nationwide.
Responsibilities:
- To oversee the governance, operational, and administrative functions of Community Families National Programmes
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Tusla, HSE, ELI Director and Assistant Directors, and other relevant bodies
- Implement and manage contracts and MOUs with participating organisations and funders
- Manage IT requirements, including phones, CRM, laptops, website, SharePoint, etc.
- Oversee finance, including budgets, payments, and managing and accounting for income and expenditure within the NCI/Early Learning Initiative framework
- Ensure facilities meet health and safety standards
- Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies, including social media and website management
- Ensure governance and reporting requirements are met
Requirements:
- A relevant 3rd-level qualification
- Experience of family support, including working with young children and families in their communities
- Knowledge and experience of home visiting programmes
- An ability to work closely with staff delivering services to marginalised families
- An understanding of organisational change and strategies to support it
- Excellent knowledge of and skills in relevant IT systems, particularly Microsoft Office
