Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct CT scans and other radiographic procedures as required.
  2. Ensure the accurate positioning of patients and proper operation of CT equipment.
  3. Maintain high standards of patient care and confidentiality.
  4. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.
  5. Process and analyze images, ensuring clarity and accuracy for diagnostic purposes.
  6. Assist in the management and maintenance of radiographic equipment.
  7. Keep accurate records of imaging procedures and patient information.
  8. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and deliver comprehensive patient care.
  9. Stay updated with advancements in radiographic techniques and technologies.

Requirements:

  1. Degree in Radiography or equivalent qualification.
  2. Valid registration with CORU.
  3. Proven experience in CT imaging.
  4. Full driving license and access to own car is desirable.
  5. Resident in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
  6. All candidates will be required to undergo Garda Vetting.
  7. International Police Clearance (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16).
