In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to deliver high-quality solutions to our FSI customers, while providing technical guidance and mentorship to help them grow in their careers. You will also participate in the creation and sharing of FSI-focused best practices, technical content, and new reference architectures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineers to deliver high-quality solutions to FSI customers.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers to help them grow in their careers.
  • Participate in the creation and sharing of FSI-focused best practices, technical content, and new reference architectures.
  • Educate FSI customers about AWS technology.
  • Contribute to the growth of the Solutions Architecture organization.

Requirements

">
  • 5+ years experience in the financial services industry.
  • Background in Cloud Architecture, Systems Design, Software Development, Infrastructure Architecture, Data Engineering, or DevOps within FSI companies.
  • Technical Degree (Computer Science, Maths, Engineering or equivalent) and/or relevant tech experience.
  • Experience in managing complex sales processes with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Business level written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

">
  • Experience designing, building, and operating large scale IT systems for major FSI companies – either on premises or in the cloud.
  • Working knowledge of cloud native architectures for FSI use cases.
  • Knowledge of FSI regulations, security requirements, and compliance standards.
