Financial Reporting Specialist

This role is pivotal in ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of financial reports and accounts for a diverse portfolio of funds.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of fund structures, transactions, and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with current accounting standards (UK GAAP or IFRS).
  • Establish effective reporting procedures for new funds and entities.
  • Support the administration team with precise bookkeeping processes.
  • Calculate Net Asset Values in line with fund-specific requirements.
  • Liaise with clients, auditors, and professional advisers to meet stringent reporting deadlines.
  • Attend client meetings to discuss accounts and related matters.
  • Guarantee regulatory and statutory reporting requirements are met.

Requirements:

  • A qualified Accountant with solid technical accounting knowledge.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Advanced Excel and strong IT skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Professionalism and strong communication skills.
