Job Title: Cost Control Specialist

About the Job:

As a Cost Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing construction costs and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial management of live projects
  • Tendering support, including quantity checking, quotations for materials and subcontract packages, and building up rates from first principles
  • Preparation of monthly payment applications and variation submissions
  • Cost control on live projects
  • Construction budgets preparation
  • Construction claims preparation
  • Procurement at project stage
  • Quantity surveying tasks from pre-tender and post-tender perspectives

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in quantity surveying / construction economics
  • Costx software experience advantageous
  • Minimum 3+ years QS experience with main/sub contractor or PQS consultancies
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Effective team player

Salary Information:

The salary range is €55K-€80K negotiable based on candidates' experience and qualifications.
