Job Description

The Senior Construction Quality Assurance Specialist will play a pivotal role in developing a culture of quality within projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing a 'Right 1st Time' approach to minimize errors.
  • Managing Non-Conformances (NCRs) by providing comprehensive reports with root cause analysis and following up on issues.
  • Inspecting rework and sign-off of non-conformances.
  • Ensuring works align with mock-ups and first-of-a-kind designs.
  • Liaising with site and installation teams to review quality processes effectiveness.
  • Compliance with project quality plans and applicable codes.
  • Providing quality reports for incorporation into project reports.
  • Maintaining quality records, acceptance certificates, completion certificates, and documentation according to project requirements.
  • Daily inspections, inspection closures, and meetings with assigned certifiers for BCAR compliance.
  • Tracking open compliance issues to ensure satisfactory closure.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety protocols at sites.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of experience in the construction industry.
  • A relevant third-level qualification preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Packages; Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Procore or similar.
