Job Description

Role Purpose:

The Strategic Financial Advisor will serve as a key advisor to the organization, providing financial expertise and supporting decision-making across all departments.

The advisor will work closely with stakeholders to deliver financial insights, planning, and performance analysis aligned with the organization's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Analysis and Planning: Provide detailed financial analysis and support strategic decision-making through data-driven insights.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with departments to understand financial needs and align budgets with business goals.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring the organization's financial stability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Qualifications: Qualified accountant (ACA/CPA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a professional membership body, education, not-for-profit, or public sector. Proven track record in financial analysis, planning, and business partnering.

Skills and Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence and challenge constructively. Adaptable and flexible to changing business conditions and requirements.
