
Airline Operations Manager

The Operations Control Duty Manager plays a key role in managing and supervising administrative arrangements involved in aircraft operation. This includes overall supervision of operations control administration, including crew control, flight watch, and tactical management of ground operations.
Responsibilities- Support and brief commanders for aircraft dispatch.
- Coordinate day-to-day aircraft allocation and scheduling with relevant parties.
- Ensure optimum utilisation and resource allocation to maintain punctuality cost effectively.
- Supervise Operations Control Centre on shift, ensuring coverage of all aspects of Operations Control.
- Review operations and crewing issues, making informed decisions regarding schedule disruptions, on-time performance, and customer care.
- Carry out duties as required to support commanders.
- Coordinate with departments to ensure up-to-date information is provided and gathered.
- Monitor entry and accuracy of operational data into the operations management system.
- Produce daily/weekly/monthly reports as directed by the Director of Operations.
