Job Title: Major Incident Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Major Incident Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery and support of IT services to ensure they meet organisational needs.

Your primary focus will be on coordinating incident and problem resolution with appropriate stakeholders, ensuring that our organisation meets its requirements under the DORA framework relating to technology incidents.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing DORA regulatory information based on specific incident criteria when a P1/P2 incident occurs.
  • Assessing the DORA major thresholds during incidents and notifying internal communication channels to key stakeholders.
  • Preparing regulatory notifications to enable submission to relevant regulators within 24 hours of a qualifying incident.
  • Analysing recurring incidents to determine if they qualify for notification under the DORA framework.
  • Gathering data and compiling reports on communication effectiveness.
  • Overseeing incident investigations/communication, and handling Problem Management to ensure root cause analysis and permanent fixes are implemented.
  • Preparing and participating in Incident, Problem & DORA reports for LDN & Dublin region.

This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. If you have experience in an Incident Management / Coordinator role and possess a passion for delivering high-quality results, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent technical certificate.
  • Graduate degree preferred but not required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an Incident Management / Coordinator role.
  • Proficient knowledge of IT concepts and principles.
  • Excellent organisational, partner, research, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Ability to simplify technical concepts and communicate them effectively to a large group.
  • Experience working with Scrum techniques and artifacts is a plus.
