Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Project Manager

We are seeking a project manager for our water and wastewater infrastructure projects. As a key member of our site supervision team, you will work on high-profile construction projects, ensuring quality and standards in our activities and services for clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaison and management of the project team.
  • Reporting to senior management.
  • Deal with on-site contractual matters related to the works.
  • Coordinating contract interfaces with respect to the projects.
  • Liaison with stakeholders.
  • Assessment of contractor claims and writing reports on same.
  • Assessment of contractor payment applications against work completed.
  • Assessment of contractor performance against contractual KPIs.
  • Assessment of contractor submissions including method statements and preparation of clear comments.
  • Review contractor design submissions against employers' requirements and preparation of clear comments.
  • Supervision of works, keeping records, measuring, managing correspondence, and contractual documentation.
Requirements
  • Hold a degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Satisfactory knowledge of civil engineering works, building construction, and project management principles.
  • At least 7 years of post-graduate experience, including at least 5 years in on-site supervision, contract administration, and project management of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in construction of water/wastewater treatment plants, pipelines, pumping stations, deep excavations, marine outfalls, civil structures, or similar projects.
  • Ability to write clear and concise reports and keep work records.
  • Proficiency in computers for document handling and reporting.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Satisfactory knowledge of construction contracts.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to comply with Quality Assurance Management Systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
