Catering Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at UPMC Kildare Hospital. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional patient care through our culinary services.

Responsibilities:

  • Pursue excellence in food preparation and presentation, adhering to strict health and safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, ensuring compliance with HACCP guidelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with the kitchen team to achieve seamless service delivery.
  • Minimize waste by implementing efficient inventory management and food portioning strategies.
  • Contribute to record-keeping activities as directed by the catering manager or chef.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager, supporting the overall success of the catering team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in catering, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • HACCP training is highly desirable.
