In addition to regulating political finance laws, we provide oversight, guidance, and support on election delivery, voter engagement, and democratic process improvement.

As a key senior management role, this position involves managing expert policy advice on electoral administration or political finance issues in Northern Ireland for Commissioners and the Executive Team.

You will deputize for the Head of Electoral Commission, Northern Ireland, as required, ensuring successful delivery of strategic priorities and functions in Northern Ireland.

This includes providing line management for relevant colleagues, delivering operational and team plans, and managing the UK-wide accreditation scheme for electoral observers.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective policy advice on electoral administration and political finance issues.
  • Manage the development and implementation of operational plans and projects within Northern Ireland.
  • Provide leadership and support to team members to achieve organizational goals.
