About the Project:

The Data Centre project is a high-profile, large-scale development that requires a dedicated Safety Officer to oversee and ensure compliance with all health and safety protocols and regulations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in health and safety management and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing and ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols and regulations on-site
  • Reporting directly to the Health & Safety Manager and contributing to the development of the Safety Management System
  • Conducting regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks
  • Maintaining records of statutory inspections for all activities, machinery, and equipment on site
  • Handling statutory notifications to the Health & Safety Authority and liaising with inspectors as required
Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years' experience in a Safety Officer role within the construction sector, ideally with large-scale projects, is required. A Health and Safety qualification (e.g., Certificate, Diploma, or Degree) is essential. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and legislation, particularly within the construction industry, is also necessary.
