Job Title: Strategic Risk Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled risk manager to lead our strategic risk management efforts. This is a key role that requires collaboration with senior management to identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impact our organization's objectives and financial wellbeing.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a robust risk management framework, promoting a risk-aware culture across all levels of the organization, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.

  • Develop and implement best-in-class risk management policies, procedures, and ways of working.
  • Design and manage a risk management framework that is responsive to emerging risks.
  • Champion a strong risk culture by promoting awareness, understanding, and ownership of risk across all levels of the organization.
  • Support the development of risk management training programs and deliver workshops to build risk literacy and engagement.
  • Lead on business continuity and crisis management planning, working closely with other second-line functions towards a mature integrated assurance model.
Key Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Proven experience in risk management, preferably in a similar industry or sector.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, finance, or risk management.
