Social Care Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to young people, promoting independence and person-centred planning.

Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all residents.

In addition to your core duties, you will have the opportunity to participate in professional growth and development opportunities, enhancing your skills and expertise in social care.

Requirements:
  • A minimum Level 7 Qualification in Social Care or a relevant area
  • Clear understanding of person-centred care and keyworking
  • Experience of risk assessments and safeguarding of young people in care
  • Knowledge of HIQA policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of Children's First guidelines and procedures
  • Full Clean Manual Driving License
