Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Fresh Meat Assistant. The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Strong numerical skills and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for food, inspiring shoppers, and driving sales through effective product presentation.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • No previous experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Main duties include:

  • Embodying the company's brand values: genuine, passionate about food, vibrant, committed, innovative, and imaginative.
  • Ensuring store standards are met on a daily basis to drive sales growth.
  • Maintaining a clean, well-organized, and visually appealing department.
  • Implementing planograms effectively and managing stock rotation to ensure quality and freshness of goods.
  • Managing waste and shrink in the department, promoting efficiency and reducing losses.
  • Staying up-to-date with new products and initiatives, enhancing product knowledge, and sharing ideas with colleagues.
  • Engaging with new initiatives and embracing innovative approaches to work.
