About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Community Manager.

The successful candidate will have a strong management and leadership background, with experience of working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, providing person-centered support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Uphold the principles of community care and values in the role of principle person responsible for the day-to-day management of the community.
  • Provide strategic advice and guidance to senior management and regional teams.
  • Lead the safe support of residents within a complex residential environment.
  • Ensure excellent working relationships with health services and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement business plans annually, consulting with coworkers and residents.
  • Manage risk throughout the community, ensuring health and safety standards are met.
  • Investigate and respond to complaints, including adult and child protection concerns.
  • Enable and support residents to have choice and control in their lives.
  • Maintain an excellent knowledge of registered care and Supporting People standards.
  • Collaborate with other organizations to provide new opportunities.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of a Level 7 qualification on the QQI Framework, in Social Care Studies, Social Care Management or equivalent relevant qualification in Health or Social Care.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Social Care Management or a related field are desirable.
  • At least 3 years of senior management experience at a similar level of responsibility.
  • At least 5 years' experience in the health/social care or voluntary sector.
