Job Overview

As a General Registered Nurse, you will promote and maintain the highest attainable standard of nursing care within the facility, ensuring all residents are treated with dignity and respect. This role reports to the Director of Nursing.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure residents receive individualized care and adhere to An Bord Altranais Code of Professional Conduct.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow policies regarding drug administration and custody.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals for resident discharge planning.
  • Participate in HIQA inspection processes and ensure knowledge of relevant standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Requirements include registration on the Irish live register (NMBI), active PIN, fluent English language skills, strong communication abilities, and 1 year of relative experience.
