This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality, person-centred care across nursing homes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert guidance on HIQA compliance and regulatory best practices to management teams.
- Lead internal audits, develop corrective action plans, and oversee follow-up activities.
- Support the creation, review, and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Mentor and develop staff, promoting a culture of learning, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee safeguarding practices, risk management, and incident reporting.
- Analyse and report on quality metrics, contributing to organisational planning and development.
- Registered General Nurse with active NMBI registration.
- Postgraduate qualification in healthcare management, quality, or clinical governance.
- Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in a quality, governance, or compliance role within healthcare.
- In-depth knowledge of HIQA standards and best practice in person-centred care.
- Proven expertise in audits, risk management, staff mentoring, and policy development.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Full driver's licence with willingness to travel.
