The company is currently seeking an Electronic Engineering Evaluation Specialist to join the BMS Design Evaluation team in Cork, Ireland. The successful candidate will be involved in the validation and characterization of Wireless System on Chip Battery Management ICs.

  • Responsibilities include definition and implementation of measurement methodologies along with test case and measurement plan generation.
  • Development of both hardware and software elements that constitute the evaluation platform, including PCB design and circuit design, embedded software development, software for measurement control, and instrument driver development.
  • Execution to schedule of the measurement plan with the developed platform, analysis of captured data, and presentation of findings to the wider team.

Candidate Requirements:

  1. A degree in electronic engineering with a firm grounding in both analog and digital theory along with a good grasp of programming structures used in software development.
  2. Self-motivation, good communication skills, and comfort working in a team.
  3. An interest in RF and radio, a desire to broaden knowledge and insight in this field.
  4. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on own initiative.
  5. Some experience and proficiency in the use of measurement equipment along with basic knowledge of debug and fault-finding techniques.
  6. Familiarization with the use of software in measurement control and test instrumentation management.
  7. Exposure to data analysis and report generation in tools such as Jupyter Notebooks.
