Support Worker Role

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic support worker to join our team as a Day Activities Facilitator. This role involves working closely with individuals with intellectual disabilities to develop and implement personalized support plans.

Main Responsibilities
  • To design and implement programmes tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual.
  • To maintain a safe and supportive environment that fosters social interaction and community participation.
  • To work collaboratively with individuals, their families, and other stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A third-level qualification relevant to the provision of service to individuals with intellectual disabilities or a QQI Level 5 Major Award in community development, health, or education.
  • A valid manual driving license permitting you to operate a manual transmission vehicle on Irish roads.
