Join a leading dental clinic in Waterford and embark on a fulfilling career as an experienced dental nurse.

Our team is seeking a skilled, efficient dental nurse to work full time in our Waterford Clinic, assisting clinicians and ensuring excellent patient care. As an integral part of our team, you will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of infection control, preparing surgeries for patients' treatments, and assisting with laboratory work.

Duties Include:
  • Preparing the surgery for patients' treatments, including infection control duties
  • Cleaning and sterilising instruments using the autoclave
  • Assisting clinicians with treatments, including suction and light curing
  • Ensuring lab work is ready
  • On occasion, closing out patients at reception, rebooking and taking payments
  • Entering clinical notes on dental software
  • Restocking the surgery
  • Assisting with reception during downtime
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
  • Excellent attention to detail for clinical notes and decontamination duties
  • A caring and compassionate nature to interact with patients
  • Good typing skills advantageous as clinical notes are taken through software
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive working approach
  • A full clean driver's license
