A Hospital Speech and Language Therapist is required to join our Adult Acute SLT Team.

• Manage a diverse caseload with opportunities to specialise in neurological and complex swallowing disorders.

• Assess, diagnose, and treat adults with communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Provide specialist dysphagia assessment and interventions to acute inpatients.
• Work closely with patients with neurological conditions, including stroke, brain injury, and progressive neurological disease.
• Collaborate with the MDT to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
• Provide education and training to patients, families, and hospital staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and contribute to service development initiatives.
• Recognised qualification in Speech & Language Therapy.
• Experience in neurological rehabilitation, stroke care, and/or orthopaedics.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organisational skills.
