Key Responsibilities- Perform stock transfers between our warehouses as required, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimising downtime.
- Load and unload delivery trucks using forklifts, pallet trucks, and manual handling when necessary, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Carry out deliveries and collections from customers, ensuring goods are safely transported in and out of properties, maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Dispose of waste materials and maintain a clean and organised workspace, contributing to a positive working environment.
- Assist within the warehouse during quieter periods, focusing on forklift operations and general warehouse tasks, developing skills and knowledge in logistics and supply chain management.
- Follow established health and safety protocols, ensuring all tasks are performed safely and efficiently.
- A valid Truck Driving License is essential for this role.
- A valid forklift license is also required; training will be provided if necessary.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, stock handling, and logistics is highly desirable.
- The ability to lift and move heavy equipment safely is crucial for this position.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach are essential for providing excellent customer service.
