Forestry Specialist - Harvesting and Timber Operations

As a seasoned forestry specialist, you will play a critical role in the harvesting and timber operations of our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to operate and maintain a range of forestry equipment including harvesters, forwarders, and skidders.

• Operate various types of forestry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Fell, process, and load timber according to operational plans.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and minor repairs on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborate with forestry teams to achieve daily production targets.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of harvested timber for data analysis and planning purposes.
