Career Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our client's expanding team in Kerry. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong experience in setting out and concrete works to take on a key role in a busy civils project.

The successful candidate will have a Civil Engineering Degree and 5+ years of experience in a similar position. They will be responsible for ensuring site specifications and designs are checked regularly, completing daily setting out and surveying duties, and supervising and mentoring site staff.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team are essential for this role. The ideal candidate will also have strong numeracy skills, be confident in MS Office, and hold a full driving licence.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with the Project and Contracts Manager
  • Be familiar with the Project Plan
  • Complete daily setting out and surveying duties
  • Supervise and mentor site staff
  • Ensure work is completed safely and reaching deadlines
  • Attend Site Meetings
  • Carry out Toolbox talks and Health & Safety briefings

Requirements:
  • Civil Engineering Degree
  • 5+ years experience in a similar position
  • Strong experience in Setting Out Concrete/Groundworks experience
  • Excellent communication Able to work within a team and motivate staff
  • Excellent numeracy skills Confident in MS Office Full driving licence
