Business Financial Analyst Position

We are seeking a skilled Business Financial Analyst to join our high-performing finance team. The ideal candidate will act as the liaison between finance and key business units, ensuring efficient financial operations.

About the Role

This commercial-focused role involves assessing the impact of new initiatives, measuring efficiencies, and advising on growth strategies. The successful candidate will provide insightful financial analysis, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive financial performance monitoring to secure achievement of financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior management to drive business performance and ensure high-quality financial decisions.
  • Offer objective financial advice and opinions that positively impact business choices.
  • Identify and drive financial efficiency through effective resource allocation and cost management.
  • Provide proactive challenge regarding spend plans and explore opportunities to deliver services more efficiently.
  • Investigate high-risk and material financial issues or problem areas within the business.
  • Maintain effective financial performance monitoring to achieve financial objectives.
  • Benchmark costs and propose measures to increase cost efficiency across the organization.
Requirements
  • Candidate must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA)
  • Prior finance business partnering experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance staff
