Electrical Installation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and fully qualified electrician to join our client's team in Dublin.

This is a days-only role, ideal for experienced professionals looking for a steady schedule, varied work, with a small team.

You'll work on custom-built catering trailers and mobile units, delivering high-quality electrical installations and repairs to meet strict safety and compliance standards.

  • Install and wire electrical systems for catering trailers and bespoke mobile units
  • Work with 230V and LED systems, including occasional 3-phase wiring
  • Diagnose and repair faults in catering equipment and trailer electrics
  • Carry out electrical safety checks and compliance testing
  • Interpret and work from electrical schematics and technical drawings
  • Use electrical testing tools to ensure all work meets regulatory and safety standards
  • Collaborate with fabrication, plumbing, and installation teams to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment at all times
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified electrician (RECI or equivalent certification essential)
  • Proven experience with trailer wiring, 230V systems, and LED installations is advantageous
  • Strong fault-finding, troubleshooting, and repair skills
  • Ability to work from technical drawings and schematics
  • Proficient in the use of electrical testing equipment
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Capable of working independently is essential
  • Strong communication skills and good time management

The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of electrical systems and proven experience working on similar projects. In addition, they should hold relevant qualifications such as RECI or equivalent certification.
