Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Warehouse Technical Specialist to join our team. This role involves designing and developing test strategies and artifacts to validate our data warehouse E2E process and reporting interfaces.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience testing data warehouse and reporting systems, including ETL jobs, and will be able to design and develop automated solutions to streamline the QA process.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Data & Analytics team to support and test throughout the entire data development lifecycle within our data warehouse and reporting systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Requirements:

  • Excellent MS SQL Server experience and ability to build and analyze complex SQL queries
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Experience working with relational data models
  • Hands-on experience with test automation in the Data Warehouse space using programming languages such as Java, Python, Bash, PowerShell

Professional Requirements:

  • Able to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment and take initiative to learn new tools and concepts quickly
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence the Delivery Team on Software Quality best practices
