Warehouse Assistant Role

Maintain accurate and fully located stock to enable efficient invoicing with minimal errors. Support the growth and development of the branch by performing various warehouse duties.

About the Job

This is a role that involves working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all warehouse areas comply with health and safety legislation. You will be responsible for providing a safe working environment for all team members and visitors.

Your tasks will include assisting the customer service supervisor and serving customers at the front counter. You will also check all incoming stock for shortages and damages, recording details as necessary.

Accurately pick customer orders and verify that only invoiced goods leave the warehouse. Complete the daily PI count accurately and promptly. Handle stock carefully to minimize damage during storage and delivery.

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure all warehouse areas comply with health and safety legislation.
  2. Provide a safe working environment for all team members and visitors.
  3. Assist the customer service supervisor and serve customers at the front counter.
  4. Check all incoming stock for shortages and damages, recording details as necessary.
  5. Accurately pick customer orders and verify that only invoiced goods leave the warehouse.
  6. Complete the daily PI count accurately and promptly.
  7. Handle stock carefully to minimize damage during storage and delivery.
  8. Respond to branch operation requests within designated timeframes.
  9. Check all returns to ensure they match collection notes and are in suitable condition, noting exceptions such as old core, warranty, or damaged goods.
  10. Ensure stock cleanses, damaged goods, and old core returns are completed accurately and on time to prevent stock loss.
  11. Report missing stock to the manager promptly.
  12. Assist with maintaining a clean and tidy working environment.
  13. Perform any additional duties as directed by the manager.
