Job Title: Senior Claims Adjuster

We are seeking a skilled Senior Claims Adjuster to manage Professional Indemnity, D&O & Cyber claims within our Irish claims team in Dublin.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Proactively manage assigned claims across Financial Lines, setting and implementing case strategies under the direction of Practice Leaders and Claims management.
  2. Collaborate with Claim Managers and Practice Leaders to achieve optimal file outcomes, determine external vendor engagement, and establish strategic plans.
  3. Work with management and Claims Litigation team to identify counsel or alternative resolution techniques, proactively managing litigation strategy on assigned claims.
  4. Manage expenses through thoughtful expense management and claims best practice, partnering with internal and external counsel.
  5. Assist Underwriters with policy review and drafting initiatives, participate in marketing and business development activities, sharing lessons learned to improve risk assessment and underwriting processes.
  6. Coordinate communication with stakeholders to ensure high-level customer service, producing internal reporting in support of best practice and reserving guidelines.
  7. Monitor emerging liability and coverage trends.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree required;
  2. Fully or partially ACII qualified is desirable;
  3. 5+ years of Financial Lines claims experience with recognised knowledge and abilities;
  4. Casualty claims handling experience an advantage;
  5. Excellent industry knowledge and reputation in the market;
  6. Well-developed negotiation skills and good communication & interpersonal skills;
  7. Extensive experience of the Irish legal system in claims handling;
  8. Eagerness to learn, develop and grow within a professional claims team;
  9. Enthusiasm and humour.

You will report to the Head of Ireland Claims.
