About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Regional Community Worker to join our team at TN Ireland. As a key member of our regional office, you will play a vital role in supporting people with MS in the Midlands Region.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support and information to people with MS and their families, enabling them to manage their condition and improve their quality of life.
  • Collaborating with relevant statutory and voluntary bodies to meet identified needs.
  • Maintaining accurate records on Salesforce and ensuring confidentiality at all times.

Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting people with MS and their families, providing emotional support and practical assistance to help them manage their condition.
  • Developing and implementing community-based programs to promote health and wellbeing among people with MS.
  • Liaising with local healthcare providers and community organisations to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant third-level qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Social Care, Educator, or Community Development.
  • A broad understanding of disability issues.
  • The ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Practical experience in providing care, support, and advocacy to people with a neurological and/or physical condition.
  • A full clean driving license.
