Service Advisor Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Service Advisor to join our team in Dublin, Ireland. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to all customers, ensuring their vehicles are serviced and maintained to the highest standards.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the motor industry, with a strong working knowledge of vehicle management systems. They will be able to demonstrate excellent front-line customer service skills, including communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.

You will be responsible for scheduling customer vehicle service bookings, determining workshop availability and meeting and greeting all service customers promptly and professionally. You will also be required to check customers and their vehicles for work, confirm customer details, service needs and accurately record this in systems.

In addition, you will be responsible for communicating with the workshop, maintaining up-to-date progress of customer vehicles undergoing service and/or repair, advising and agreeing with customers on additional work or costs, and ensuring customer vehicles are ready at the agreed day/time.

As a Service Advisor, you will also be responsible for liaising with other teams in the business, including management, reception, sales, warranty and parts, as well as gathering customer service feedback.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent front-line customer service skills
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the motor industry
