Principal Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for resolving planned and unplanned maintenance tasks to drive efficiency and minimize downtime.

This is a key role within the organization, and we are looking for someone with strong mechanical or electrical engineering skills. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience as a Maintenance Engineer working with electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic machinery. They will also have knowledge of CNC, PC, and PLC controlled systems.

The role involves carrying out routine and unplanned maintenance work, inspecting and troubleshooting equipment and machinery, and arranging procurement of fixtures, fittings, and components as required. You will also be responsible for quality inspections on jobs, controlling maintenance tools, stores, and equipment, monitoring and controlling maintenance costs, and dealing with emergencies and unplanned problems.

We offer a competitive salary and pension scheme. This is a full-time role with no shifts. The successful candidate will be able to work on their own initiative and unsupervised with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
