About the Job:

The National Account Director role involves managing strategic accounts and building relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare industry. You will be responsible for developing and executing revenue and pricing strategies, expanding relationships with target customers, and analyzing market and utilization data to inform business decisions.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute revenue and pricing strategies to expand relationships with target customers.
  2. Collate and validate market trends and dynamics to prioritize unique account targets.
  3. Analyze market and utilization data to inform pricing and rebate strategies.
  4. Work with the pricing team to develop proposals and RFPs for PBMs/GPOs, pharmacies, and distributors/wholesalers.
  5. Participate in contract negotiation and execution, ensuring compliance with contract terms.
  6. Develop commercial trade strategies to support provider access to buy-and-bill drugs.
  7. Monitor executed agreements to ensure compliance.
  8. Develop annual account plans based on pharmaceutical manufacturer portfolios and market insights.
  9. Represent customers/partners internally and collaborate with stakeholders to provide market-leading service levels.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree, MBA/PhD/Masters degree in a relevant field or extensive experience in the US healthcare, pharmaceutical industry, life sciences, consultancy.
  • Existing relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare industry.
  • Advanced level of proficiency in MS Office, financial modeling.
  • Experience interpreting financial data and working in a matrix environment.
