Lead Audit Manager Position

We are seeking an exceptional Lead Audit Manager to join our team.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced audit professional to take on a leadership role in our dynamic and fast-growing organisation. As a Lead Audit Manager, you will be responsible for managing a busy audit department, identifying and developing new business opportunities, attracting and retaining top talent, delivering service across a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, and managing a dedicated team of audit professionals. Your primary focus will be on leading the team to achieve excellent results while maintaining strong relationships with clients and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the audit department, ensuring timely completion of audits and high-quality deliverables.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, working closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Attract, develop, and retain top audit talent, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the team.
  • Deliver exceptional service to a large and diverse portfolio of corporate clients, consistently meeting or exceeding client expectations.
  • Lead a dedicated team of audit professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Maintain open communication channels with staff and clients, ensuring that everyone is informed and engaged throughout the audit process.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant with extensive experience in auditing and leadership roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of Accounting and Auditing Standards, with a proven track record of applying these standards in real-world scenarios.
  • Experience as a Senior Audit Manager or equivalent in a reputable accounting firm.
  • Demonstrated ability to attract, hire, retain, and manage high-performing audit teams.
  • Strong management, client relationship, and interpersonal skills, with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
