About the Role

This role involves managing assets through the due diligence process for all awarded on-lease acquisitions, sale-leasebacks, and naked aircraft acquired for lease placements. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, be able to lead and manage investment opportunities, and provide critical insights based on detailed financial analysis and diligence of given investment opportunities.


  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage assets through the firm's due diligence process for all awarded on-lease acquisitions, sale-leasebacks, and naked aircraft acquired for lease placements.
  • Work closely with the Technical Team to understand the technical considerations around each aircraft and their implications on the asset underwriting.
  • Promptly raise any issues discovered during the due diligence process and support the Commercial Team as needed in any subsequent negotiations.
  • Synthesize all necessary legal, jurisdictional, technical, and lessee credit diligence into an investment recommendation to senior management.
  • Review and confirm that all required information and concessions are clearly documented in the investment materials and base case model for the Investment Committee's approval.

Requirements
  • Experience: 2-5 years' experience in aircraft leasing and investing strongly preferred. Candidates with investment banking, equity research, or private equity experience will be considered.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering, or related field.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of commercial, maintenance, technical, and legal concepts in aircraft leases. Ability to quickly review and dissect financial models to determine key value drivers in a deal and focus points for diligence.
  • Professional Qualities: Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and deep sense of accountability.
