Job Overview

The Regulatory Compliance and Technical Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the regulatory, international environmental, health, and safety & specification compliance and technical support functions within the R&D department.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs related to Ireland R&D processes, ensuring adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in both US and EU geographies.
  2. Manage technical services that support R&D activities, including chemistry lab infrastructure, software systems, IT solutions, and R&D EHS.
  3. Lead strategic capability and infrastructure investment projects.
  4. Lead a high-performing team of compliance and technical services professionals and specialists.
  5. Collaborate with Global R&D Functions to ensure new product development meets compliance and quality standards.
  6. Ensure compliance with local, national, and international environmental, health, and safety regulations applicable to R&D ingredients, semi-finished goods, operations, and projects.
  7. Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to compliance and technical service efficiency within the Ireland R&D function.
  8. Provide expert guidance on regulatory requirements during project planning, execution, and review phases.
  9. Lead audits, risk assessments, and investigations related to R&D compliance.
  10. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance compliance awareness and technical competence among R&D staff.
  11. Build strong relationships with external regulatory bodies, technology vendors, and service providers.
