About the Role
We're excited to offer a challenging opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a reputable Pharmaceutical organization in Cork.

This position involves working with a talented group of professionals to develop and implement efficient maintenance strategies.

Responsibilities
• Contribute to equipment design, construction, commissioning, and qualification activities.
• Collaborate with maintenance personnel and other departments to provide technical assistance when needed.
• Create and maintain accurate maintenance procedures and equipment files.
• Participate in generating, reviewing, and revising maintenance documentation as necessary.
• Develop and oversee the critical equipment list.
• Enhance the site preventive maintenance program (RCM/FMECA based).
• Develop and manage the condition monitoring program.
• Assist in selecting suitable spare parts to ensure optimal equipment availability.
• Analyze equipment data to report on equipment performance.
Education and Experience
Relevant qualifications include a degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Instrumentation Process Engineering or similar. Practical experience in reliability and/or maintenance within a process or pharmaceutical cGMP regulated environment is also essential. Proficiency in best practices in preventive maintenance, condition monitoring, maintenance planning, reliability engineering, RCM, or FMECA is required, as well as experience with Delta V, PLC, and SCADA systems, and SAP.
