Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Environmental Scientist to contribute to our environmental projects in Ireland.

Main Responsibilities

  • Project management and coordination of environmental impact assessments, strategic environmental assessments, appropriate assessments, planning application documentation and other environmental reports.
  • Provide expert technical assistance to the business.
  • Participate in delivering business development initiatives.
  • Implement regulatory approvals for various projects.

Key Requirements

  • A degree in an environmental discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of post-graduate experience in an environmental position.
  • Chartered status in relevant discipline.
  • In-depth knowledge of planning, environmental and waste management legislation.
  • Ability to report on various projects and submit license/permit applications.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent writing and reviewing skills.
  • Experience with external stakeholders, regulatory bodies and contractors.
  • A full driver's license.

Environmental Focus

This role requires expertise in environmental science and policy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulations and be able to implement them effectively.
