Hotel Performance Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Hotel Performance Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our hotel operations, you will play a vital role in analyzing and improving hotel performance.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing Monthly Performance: Review and analyze monthly hotel performance data, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for long-term strategies.
  • Monitoring Daily Operations: Monitor daily hotel operations, analyzing pickup, pace, lead times, booking patterns, and trends to ensure optimal hotel performance.
  • Guest Feedback: Report all guest feedback to the team, ensuring prompt corrective action is taken to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Revenue Growth Strategies: Collaborate with the Revenue and Reservations Manager & Sales Manager to develop and implement sales and pricing strategies to achieve budgeted targets.
  • System Maintenance: Ensure the website booking process is up-to-date and functional, and that hotel personnel are fully competent in using all systems.
  • Rate Management: Manage and load rates, profiles, and availability in the Property Management System (PMS).
  • Lost Business Analysis: Analyze lost, refused, and cancelled business in the month to identify areas for improvement.
  • Forecasting: Update weekly forecasts of expected results and compare variances and budget comparisons on Alkimii.
  • Long-Term Planning: Prepare 36-month forecasts to inform long-term business planning.
  • Reservation Administration: Manage all reservation and group booking administration and process all requests.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory of all processes and recommend ways to maximize revenue.
  • Front Desk Support: Work closely with the front desk in dealing with reservations enquiries and input reservations into the system.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor competitors' rates and understand local markets and demands to inform pricing strategies.
  • Budget Preparation: Assist in the preparation of the hotel Rooms Sales budget.
  • Product Knowledge: Have a thorough knowledge of the hotel and all products on offer.
  • Customer Service: Handle and resolve customer complaints, following through to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction at all times.
  • Standard Operating Procedures: Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and minimize refunds.
