Empowerment Specialist

The Dynamic Support Coordinator role offers a rewarding opportunity to empower individuals with disabilities to pursue meaningful lives in their own homes and communities.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Celbridge HUB, working 35 hours per week from Monday to Friday.

As a Support Coordinator, you will work in close partnership with each person, their families, and chosen supporters to co-create and maintain individualised service arrangements that reflect their will and preferences.

Our ideal candidate will have a recognised third-level qualification in Social Care or a related field, along with a minimum of three years' experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities in a community setting.

• Recognised third-level qualification in Social Care or a related field
• Minimum of three years' experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities in a community setting
• CORU registration
• Knowledge of New Directions, Social Role Valorisation, Supported/Self-Directed Living, and the Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act 2015
• Demonstrated commitment to person-centred, rights-based support and inclusive practice
• Understanding of the National Framework for Person-Centred Planning and its application in service delivery
• Experience facilitating self-directed living and meaningful community participation
• Proven leadership, organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work in partnership with individuals, families, and external stakeholders
