This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of experts as a Data Scientist. You will play a key role in developing and implementing cutting-edge technologies to optimise energy generation and consumption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement AI-driven optimisation algorithms to maximise revenue from demand response services.
  • Design and deploy machine learning models to predict energy demand, pricing, and renewable energy generation.
  • Extend forecasting models with exogenous parameters such as weather data into demand forecasting and energy generation models for solar and wind energy resources.
  • Apply ML-Ops practices and AutoML frameworks to accelerate model development and ensure seamless integration into production environments.
  • Perform data analytics and ad-hoc analysis using Python (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, Jupyter Notebook), SQL, Power BI, or other business intelligence software.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or Physics.
  • Three years' experience working in a related role.
  • Hands-on experience with data science coding and languages such as Python (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, Jupyter Notebook).
  • Experience in developing optimisation algorithms, data analytics, and visualisation.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and data engineering practices, such as workflow orchestration with Airflow, ETL/ELT.
